I will demonstrate and call out when to stand, sit, lean your bike for corners, make climbs easier, charge at obstacles, tackle roots, when to shift, or use dropper, and we'll conquer and session your first actual chunky rock garden and techy root ride.

About the event
Adult MTB Clinic Age 15+. Minor allowed with adult attending with approval.
Whether you are new to mountain biking or been riding for years this clinic will cover tons of useful MTB concepts. Learn what your dominant leg is, get better at standing when riding, learn bike body separation which makes you a better and safer rider, ratcheting/partial pedal to prevent pedal strikes, roll over obstacles, better braking and more! Even well seasoned riders say they learned something new. You'll go home being much better at these techniques and enjoy your riding so much more!
Meet at UBC (Please try to come to Alafia 30 mins+ early. It can take a half hour to get through park gates, park your vehicle and get your gear and bike ready.) I will be wearing a "Ur Ride Guide" jersey in UBC's picnic area. :) Once we get the waivers signed we will ride together…
